Tyler Perkins

​I am Tyler Perkins. I am a Junior majoring in Communication while minoring in Management. Born in North Miami and raised in Pembroke Pines, I spent my early life playing sports and enjoying the outdoors. Florida Gulf Coast University and the surrounding area has proven to be an amazing experience for my transition into adulthood. With many leadership positions available to students, I have chosen to start my own Registered Student Organization, the Florida Gulf Coast University Skydiving Club. As President and Founder of the Skydiving Club and a member of Phi Delta Theta, I have been given valuable insight on the operation of an organization which I plan to carry on with me as I enter the business world and start my own company.   Along with being an avid Skydiver with over 225 jumps under my belt, I enjoy Scuba Diving and I am a part of the club on campus. I do not consider myself a thrill seeker but I do enjoy the feeling of conquering my fears and stepping out of my comfort zone each and every day. 

 

Forming a new Fraternity on campus has been a great experience and I encourage those who are interested in Phi Delt to carry on that same pioneering spirit and to continue bringing quality aspectsto this organization.
